I’ve recently listened to Show #7 of The Design View Show, a podcast by Andy Rutledge. Show #7 was released in December 2, 2007 but the information in there is still relevant and useful today that I felt the need to share it with you.
In the podcast, Andy Rutledge says that there are four things you must do well in order to get more clients, better clients, and better projects:
- Be very good at what you do
- Have a great portfolio and reputation
- Behave professionally in every aspect of your work
- Have core values that govern your work and behavior, and never deviate from them

I disagree with you Artur. I think point four needs to be a little weaker. I think values should change with circumstances. I listened to the podcast, and he mentions this. So, you are somewhat correct.
